\"IMG_1610\"<\/a>One of the cool things about being in the brewing industry for as long as I have been is that you build up some pretty sweet relationships over 20 years.\u00a0 Every now and then I send Eric “Smitty” Smith, one of the founders over at Odell Brewing Company, a case of\u00a0750s\u00a0from The Rare Beer Club\u2122 past features and he uses the same box to send me some of Odell’s tasty cellar and woodcut series beers.\u00a0 Been sitting on Woodcut #3 for a few years now and finally cracked it open today.\u00a0 Wow. \u00a0A big, boozy, crimson ale with huge American oak notes playing off of sweet\u00a0cara\u00a0malts and crystal malts. \u00a0It was worth the wait.<\/p>\n
