Order Cut Off Deadlines - Month To Start First Shipment
You have the option of starting your membership any month you choose. If you select the default, Next Available Month, all orders placed after the 15th of the month will commence on the following month.
Special Holiday Ordering Notes: Our Holiday Order Cut off dates are extended for several clubs to accommodate your last minute shopping needs! In the month of DECEMBER ONLY, Beer, Wine & Cigar orders placed after the 20th will commence in January.
Delivery Schedules and Timeframes
Beer & Wine Clubs: All shipments are sent from our consolidation centers between the 15th and 25th of each month via UPS, Federal Express, and several other Ground services. Please allow for 7-10 business days for your shipments to arrive.
Cigar Club: Orders placed by the 5th of the month will ship by the 10th of that month via the U.S. Postal service. Orders placed between the 6th and 15th will have their first shipment sent out the 4th week of the month. Please allow for 3-5 business days for your shipments to arrive.
Cheese & Chocolate Clubs: All shipments are sent from our consolidation center on the 3rd Tuesday of each month via Express 2nd Day Service and will arrive in one or two business days. Due to the perishable nature of the product, shipments are sent without a signature required to avoid excessive periods in the carrier's possession. It is therefore VERY IMPORTANT that you ship to a location where someone will be there to receive it. PLEASE NOTE: For November only, cheese will be shipped on the 2ND Tuesday to avoid conflicting with Thanksgiving.
Flower Club: All shipments are sent from our consolidation center on the 3rd Monday and Tuesday of each month via Express Next Day Service. Due to the perishable nature of the product, shipments are sent without a signature required to avoid excessive periods in the carrier's possession. It is therefore VERY IMPORTANT that you ship to a location where someone will be there to receive it.
Gift Orders & Gift Announcements - You may create a customized gift card from our web site that will provide you with something to present to your gift recipient immediately! Simply click on "Print Gift Card" from any page on the site and you'll be able to create a customized announcement or award certificate that can be emailed or printed! Adult Signature Requirements - All beer or wine shipments are sent via UPS, Federal Express or local ground service carriers with an adult signature sticker required on the box. It's best to have your shipments sent to a location where someone will be there to sign for it. Each carrier will make 3 delivery attempts to get your shipment to you and leave a message each time indicating the attempted delivery. After the 3rd attempt, the box is routed to the local consolidation center closest to your shipping address and you'll have ten days to pick it up before it is sent back to our warehouse. If in fact you begin your membership at one location and need to change the address at some point during your membership, you can simply call us at 800-625-8238 to do so. Additionally, we've intentionally packaged our shipments in a very non-descript, brown corrugated box such that many of our customers are comfortable having their shipments sent to a daytime location. Shipping Alcoholic Beverages - All alcoholic beverage products purchased are sold in the State of California and legal title passes to the buyer in California effective upon approval of your credit card charge or receipt of your check. Please note that packages may ship from a state other than the state you are shipping to. We make no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import alcoholic beverages across state lines. The buyer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcoholic beverage products. By placing an order with us, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order. Alcoholic beverages may be sold and delivered only to persons who are at least 21 years old. By placing this order, you represent to us that you are at least 21 years old and that the person to whom delivery will be made is also at least 21 years old. When the alcoholic beverages associated with this order are delivered, the person receiving the delivery will be required to show identification proving that he or she is at least 21 years old.
Purchase Agreement - I agree that the birth dates of both billing and shipping contacts, and that the drivers license of the billing contact associated with the order(s) that I have placed are correct.
I agree that the recipient(s) of any beer or wine of the month club orders placed on this web site are over 21 years of age. I understand that any information related to this order that is false is considered to be fraudulent by the purchaser and that any misrepresentation of age will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Furthermore, by placing this order, I represent that I am purchasing this product solely for personal use, or as a gift, and are not engaged in any sort of law enforcement activity.
Shipping Outside of the U.S. - Unfortunately, at this time the only one of our clubs that we can ship outside of the country is our Premium Cigar line.
States We Cannot Ship To - There are several states that we cannot ship either beer or wine to including: AK, HI, UT, or other areas where prohibited by law. Many states require the direct shipment of alcohol to be bulk transported into the state where a wholesaler can take possession of it and then it is distributed by a local shipper to a retail customer which is why many organizations are not set up to ship alcohol into certain states.
Returned Shipments - In the event that you are not able to receive your shipment within the three attempted deliveries AND you neglected to pick up your shipment within the allotted period, your box will be shipped back to our consolidation center at which point you have two options. You may either elect to pay a re-packaging/re-shipping fee to have your shipment repacked and resent to you, OR you may elect to have your account credited your monthly charge less shipping and handling charges.
Address Changes/Membership Extension & Terminations - Please call us prior to the 5th of the month to make all account related information changes such as address changes, membership extensions & terminations, or gift accounts desiring to continue their memberships. Address changes made after that time may require a repackaging and re-shipping charge. Direct requests by your or your gift recipient to the shipping carrier to re-route a shipment in transit or address corrections made by the carrier to the to the shipping address that you've provided may incur an additional processing fee of $5.00.
Damaged Shipments - Although we've been shipping fragile products for over 7 years now and have gone through more than 5 box redesigns, we do occasionally have a box that arrives damaged or is returned to our consolidation center damaged. (Less than half of 1% of our orders are damaged in transit). In the event of a damaged shipment, often the shipping carrier will repack the shipment with the undamaged portion repacked in a box other than our standard shipping box. The newsletter or any printed material in the box will, in most instances, be missing when this occurs. If your shipment arrives damaged, please call us immediately toll free at 800-625-8238 and report the incident for a prompt resolution.
Shipment Frequency - You may at any time elect to have your shipment sent bi-monthly, every third month, every fourth month or whatever frequency works best for you by calling our toll free number.
