Foothills Brewing - Jade IPA

Named for the unique Jade hop variety at the heart of its recipe, Jade IPA is Foothills Brewing's bold interpretation of a classic West Coast IPA. Brilliant golden in the glass with a persistent white head, it bursts with aromas of grapefruit, orange zest, pine resin, tropical fruit, and subtle herbal spice. The expressive hop blend of Jade, Citra, Chinook, and Apollo creates an intensely aromatic beer that balances vibrant citrus with earthy pine and floral complexity. The palate delivers layers of bright grapefruit, tangerine, mango, and resinous pine supported by a sturdy malt backbone of pilsner malt and Crystal 60. While the malt contributes a touch of caramel sweetness and body, the assertive 86 IBUs quickly take center stage, providing the crisp, lingering bitterness expected from a true West Coast IPA. Despite its bold hop character, the beer remains balanced and remarkably drinkable, finishing dry with lingering citrus zest and pine. At 7.4% ABV, Jade IPA pairs beautifully with smoked barbecue, buffalo wings, spicy tacos, grilled burgers, aged cheddar, blue cheese, or spicy Asian cuisine.
