CCBW also aims to educate new and seasoned participants on the craft beer scene so there will be plenty of opportunities to sharpen and expand your beer knowledge. Each event is selected and crafted purposefully to incorporate the many facets of craft beer culture. In anticipation of the upcoming festivities, Darrin Pikarsky, the founder of CCBW, was quoted as saying "I'm very excited to live in a city that has seen rapid growth in the craft beer industry. The Charlotte region is now known on a national level for it's great craft beers. Two of Charlotte's own breweries brought home medals from The Great American Beer Festival in DenverColorado recently. Charlotte Craft Beer Week is going to celebrate that success and many of the best craft beers from across The United States!"
