Upcoming Beer Festivals – August 2015

Pouring at the Oregon Beer Festival

July 30 – August 2, 2015

Mammoth Lakes, CA – 19th Annual Mammoth Festival of Beers & Bluesapalooza

“The Mammoth Festival of Beers and Bluespalooza was started 20 years ago by Sam Walker in the parking lot of Whiskey Creek with just ten breweries and a handful of beer lovers. With BBQ ribs on the grill and a local garage band playing on the roof of the restaurant, it was a fun beginning! The idea behind the event was simple—have fun and introduce Mammoth to the joys of handcrafted beers. The second year we threw in some real blues bands and a lot more breweries and we’ve never looked back. From these humble beginnings, the festival is now recognized as one of the best beer and blues festivals in the United States. FUN has always been, and continues to be, our top priority!”

Denver, CO – Sesh Fest

“We can’t find a real definition for session beers, but we here at Sesh Fest define them as any beer under 5% ABV with a balance of flavor between hops and malt and a clean, crisp finish all combine to give a beer high drinkability. The real purpose of session beers is to allow all the beer lovers out there (we know there are a ton of us!) to enjoy multiple flavorful beers in one sitting without feeling the overwhelming effects of alcohol.

We found this new trend in brewing fantastic, and of course, our friends at the Colorado Brewers Guild did as well. So, naturally, we teamed up with them to bring you Sesh Fest last year! This year we return for summer’s best beer event held at the Sculpture Park on August 1. With Denver’s most delicious food trucks, art, lawn games, and music to complement the Colorado craft beer, Sesh Fest was the perfect way to celebrate both Colorado’s local breweries and the joys of summer. All the breweries participating are listed below. Get your ticket before they sell out!”

Buffalo, NY – Buffalo BrewFest

“Please join us Friday, August 7th as we proudly carry on our tradition of helping worthy causes by indulging in our love of quality beer from some of the world’s best breweries. We have something for every taste as Western New Yorkers will have the opportunity to sample some of the best craft beer from local and regional craft brewers while helping a local non-profit organization. All proceeds from the event benefit Buffalo Hearing & Speech Center.

The 2015 Buffalo Brewfest is a true “beer tasting”. This is where you can compare the various styles of beer side by side and discover what you really enjoy. It’s also the perfect opportunity to show your friends or relatives who have been drinking the same brand of beer since 1979 how much they have been missing.”
